Accreditation is not decoration. Under UK GDPR the data controller stays accountable for personal data through to its destruction, and handing equipment to a third party does not transfer that responsibility. From secure collection through data destruction to final reporting, every stage produces a record that carries through to your audit pack. Nothing moves to the next stage until the previous one is documented.

Collection

Serial numbers and asset tags captured at your site, loads sealed with recorded seal numbers, and transport GPS-tracked. Capturing identity at source rather than on arrival removes the gap where discrepancies normally become unresolvable.

Custody

Signed handover at every transfer point, with the collection inventory carried through as the reference record. Processing takes place in controlled facilities under ADISA 8.0 certification.

Sanitisation

Certified erasure or physical destruction according to device condition and data classification. Erasure is verified before any asset is graded for reuse, and anything that fails verification is destroyed instead.

Reconciliation

The count that left your building is matched against the destruction record. Discrepancies are flagged and investigated rather than quietly absorbed into a total — an honest gap is far more defensible than a tidy one that conceals a missing device.

Evidence

Certificates referencing individual serials, asset-level disposition reporting, and environmental figures, retrievable through the client portal long after the project team has moved on.

What is ADISA certification?
ADISA is the UK's leading standard for IT asset disposal and data sanitisation. ADISA 8.0 represents the highest level of certification for secure IT asset recovery, covering process controls, facility security, and the evidence produced at each stage. Certified providers are subject to ongoing audit rather than a one-off assessment.
Do you provide certificates of destruction?
Yes. Every data-bearing asset receives certificate evidence as part of our standard ITAD process, and certificates reference individual serial numbers rather than batch totals. That distinction matters: a certificate covering an unspecified quantity cannot answer an auditor's question about a specific device.

Can we see evidence of your accreditations?
Yes. Current certification and registration evidence is available on request for procurement, vendor assurance, and due diligence processes, and we are happy to complete supplier questionnaires or security assessments directly.
What does Environment Agency registration cover?
It authorises us to handle waste electrical and electronic equipment under UK environmental regulations. This matters because your duty of care as the waste producer is not discharged by handing equipment to an unauthorised collector — using a registered carrier is what makes the disposal evidenced rather than merely completed.
How long should we retain destruction certificates?
Longer than most organisations expect, because audit and regulatory questions usually arrive well after a project closes. Project evidence remains retrievable through the Reuse Connect client portal, and sector-specific retention requirements can be agreed at scoping.
